Luca Nina lives in Cesena, born on 07/02/1973, is a self-taught artist who has found oil painting and mosaic to be his favored expressive languages. During the pandemic period he began painting with greater diligence, turning a simple hobby into a increasingly conscious creative path. His research stems from curiosity: every work is for him an inner journey, an exploration that starts from the mind and translates into images in search of a meaning to understand and share.
Luca mainly works on panels that he engraves by hand, creating grooves and textures that become an integral part of the composition. In these engravings he inlays masonry elements, blending oil painting and mosaic into a single work. This personal technique gives rise to surfaces that are rich, tactile, and symbolic.
His aesthetic is influenced by Art Nouveau, a movement he loves for the elegance of its lines and the decorative force. Among his main figurative inspirations are Alphonse Mucha and Gustav Klimt, artists who helped define his taste for harmony, ornamental rhythm, and visual narration.
He signs his works with the nickname “Naina,” which represents his artistic identity and his personal journey.
