Japanese Satsuma Style Porcelain Jardinière / Cachepot with Peacocks and Floral Decoration – 20th Century
Large and highly decorative Japanese porcelain jardinière (cachepot), executed in the Satsuma/Kutani style and richly embellished with gilded details. The exterior is finely decorated with peacocks, pheasants, cranes, peonies, wisteria and other floral motifs, all outlined in raised gold enamel. The reverse side features an elaborate floral panel in vibrant cobalt blue, pink, green, red and gold tones.
The piece displays excellent decorative quality and craftsmanship, making it an attractive statement object for both traditional and contemporary interiors.
