With these two commemorative works, the Fly series returns to its purest essence: the desire for lightness, the need to dream, and that almost childish impulse to drift higher, even when life tries in every way to keep our feet pinned to the ground. Because obviously dreaming is still the only acceptable form of rebellion without filling out forms.

The colorful balloons, suspended against a bright, tactile background, become symbols of freedom, memory, and hope. The dark figures, small but central, represent the human being in his most fragile and authentic part: children, adults, memories, desires never fully extinguished. Age doesn’t matter, because inside each of us there remains something that still wants to fly.

Quadro 100 and Quadro 200, designed to be exhibited together, mark two important milestones of the series: not only two works of a larger format compared to the classic triptych but two images that capture and reinforce the main message of Fly. Lightness is not escape, it is poetic resilience. It is the quiet courage to hold onto one’s dreams, even when they seem as thin as threads.

The Fly series was born from the idea of transforming small everyday objects into symbols of memory, lightness, and freedom. Through minimalist compositions and wide tactile backgrounds, attention focuses on essential details: balloons, suspended figures, and nostalgic references that evoke childhood, dreams, and shared memories.
Each work plays on the contrast between emptiness and color, between the simplicity of the composition and the emotional force of the subject. The small leading elements seem to float in space, creating a sense of silence and suspension that makes the painting immediately recognizable and contemporary.
