We present to you a very beautiful large work by the painter Simone BELLET (1901-1990)

Title: abstraction in colors

Technique: oil on paper glued onto hardboard (isorel).

Total size: 73.8 cm x 60.8 cm.

Signed at the bottom left.

Condition: excellent. The support board is visible on both sides.

Born in La Ferté-Macé (Orne),
Daughter of the painter Georges-Emile Bellet, she studied painting with André Lhote (1848-1951) and Fernand Léger.

In 1950, she exhibited at the Salon des Indépendants.

From that period she became an exclusively abstract painter.
