About the Artist:
Kleopatra Artesia (born 1964 in Jerusalem) grew up in France from the age of six, in a large and lively family where drawing and painting became her refuge early on. Trained in fashion design, she worked for years as a stylist and seamstress, always with a brush within reach, before turning to film photography, which sharpened her eye for composition. Now devoted full-time to painting, she draws on baroque, rococo and spiritual influences to create narrative, emotionally charged works that bridge tradition and modernity.
