Description from the seller
West Germany Fat Lava Floor Vase – Model 420-54 – 1970s
Impressive large-scale floor vase produced in West Germany during the golden era of German art pottery.
The vase features a striking cobalt-blue flowing glaze combined with highly textured volcanic “Fat Lava” bands. Its substantial size, sculptural loop handle, and bold color palette make it a remarkable decorative statement piece as well as a desirable collector’s item for enthusiasts of West German pottery, Mid-Century Modern design, and Fat Lava ceramics.
