Canduela - Cubic spaces 1

The series of cubic spaces is developed in welded and painted steel, mounted on a stone plinth.
The sculptures in this series play with individual cubic pieces that form a single sculptural space when assembled. The interplay of rotations, displacements, and assembly generates a complex shape with a wide variety of viewpoints, with many nuances and alcoves.
This collection of sculptures is presented in series of 10 unique units, numbered and signed by the author.
The vividness of the color with which the sculptures are presented transports us to contemporary architecture, to industrial manufacture, or to cutting-edge design, without moving away from the sculptural point of view. The challenge these pieces aim to achieve is to combine all these visions without perverting any of them.
