Description from the seller
Yellow-gold ring set with a cabochon-cut blood coral of about 1.99 ct. The blood coral is set in an open back setting.
Ring size: 16 mm / 50 (EU) / 10 (IT) / 5 ¼ US
Centerpiece width: about 23 mm
Measurement of the blood coral: about 16 x 6.5 mm (about 1.99 ct.)
Assay mark: 585 Dutch guarantee mark oak leaf
Quality: Wear and use marks consistent with age and use. The gemstones may be synthetic. Gemstones are often treated to improve color or clarity. This specific item has not been examined for this. For your own impression, see photos.
Presumably the coral was sourced from the Asian Sea, given the period in which this piece was made.
Because of the organic material (coral) used to make this jewelry, this item can only be shipped to European addresses to avoid potentially burdensome export procedures that may require additional documentation.
Bidders should be aware that in several countries it is not permitted to import objects derived from endangered and other protected animal species, even if a certificate of origin is provided. By bidding you confirm that you are aware of the customs laws and regulations of your country.
