Beautiful condition, one extra band, minute browning.
Original edition of these precious illustrated works in total with two identical frontispieces and 31 copper engravings by Geoffroy after Gavarni, in the first printing. Copy complete with the general covers printed in red, in a pleasant contemporary binding, and containing the colored plates of the period, printed on vellum paper with frames cut in lace.
