Description
Rubywood is a striking work from the Birch Reflections series and depicts a birch forest in an extraordinary color world full of light, depth and atmosphere.
Between the bright birch trunks, an intense background glows in ruby, purple, and carmine red tones. The warm light seems to emanate from within the forest, lending the landscape an almost dreamlike presence. Golden leaves float between the trunks, creating luminous accents that, with the red color scheme, form a harmonious yet powerful unity.
The composition moves between natural depiction and abstract interpretation. The distinctive birches stand out clearly, while light, color and atmosphere form the actual focal point of the work. Depending on the viewing angle and lighting, the red and golden color layers unfold new nuances, giving the painting a vibrant radiance.
The painting is excellent for modern living spaces, elegant reception areas, or stylish interiors where warm colors, light, and a strong atmosphere are appreciated.
About the artist
Alla Faber lives and works in Hamburg. For several years she has dedicated herself to abstract and contemporary painting, creating large-scale works that balance between stillness and movement, structure and lightness.
Her preferred materials are acrylic paints, texture gels and metal foils – combined in fine, often multi-layered compositions. Through delicate transitions, harmonious color gradients and light reflections, her images do not dominate the space but fill it with quiet presence.
Her artistic work follows the concept “So sounds the silence” – a painterly exploration of the moment between sound and silence. In this silence, for Faber there is no emptiness, but a living force: the breathing of light, the whisper of colors, the gentle pulsing of the room.
Her works have already been shown in several exhibitions in Hamburg and are today in private collections in Europe, the USA and the United Arab Emirates.
