This work in the 80 × 80 × 4.5 cm format is created on a broad, high-quality canvas and moves between painting and sculpture.
In the light, the surface unfolds a clear presence. Depending on the incidence of light and the viewing angle, texture and depth change, individual planes come into stronger relief. The work appears spatial and physical – perception arises while walking, standing, and lingering.
Frequency RED VIOLET — Sculpture of light, structure & presence
Frequency RED VIOLET is inspired by sound and frequency. From my work as a pianist I translate rhythm, pause, and repetition into a visual structure. The composition follows a reduced order. Repetitions create tensions comparable to held tones, while subtle color shifts mark transitions.
Werkdetails:
Title: Frequency RED VIOLET
Size: 80 × 80 cm × 4.5 cm
Technique & Materials: Acrylic paint and Heavy-Gel structure paste on canvas, built up layer by layer with various putty knives. The pigments form elevations and overlays with calm, pulsating tension.
Only materials of the highest quality are used: Amsterdam Expert acrylic paints, Liquitex structure pastes – all produced locally in Austria.
Frame: Wide hanging frame made of solid natural wood (included in the price).
(Black decorative frame not included)
Images: The pictures were taken under professional studio lighting. Light is essential for the color play of the works. The artist recommends placing the works under direct or indirect light to fully bring out the color play and make the works feel alive.
