With this painting the artist wanted to pay homage to his Ravenna (Byzantine capital), the city where she grew up and where the beautiful mosaic of Theodora is preserved inside the Basilica of San Vitale, a fascinating figure of the Eastern Roman Empire.
Recently he/she produced for Martini, a multinational beverage company, a series of 10 reproductions of vintage 1920s advertising posters to be distributed in bars in Italy, and he/she is exhibiting his/her paintings in a gallery in Brera, Milan.
This work was created directly in my studio.
The artwork will be carefully rolled and shipped with a tracking code.
