Yellow gold pendant weighing 13.10 g, featuring four natural round single-cut diamonds totalling 0.04 ct in a dense setting and a 0.14 ct rectangular-cut ruby in an open setting, mounted on a French love coin motif bearing Plus qu’hier, moins que demain, approximately 45 x 35 mm, with a 585 hallmark and no laboratory report, in very good used condition.

Yellow gold pendant, the pendant is set with 4 single cut diamonds totaling approx. 0.04 ct and a step cut ruby of approx. 0.14 ct. The diamonds are set in closed bezel settings; the ruby is set in an open bezel setting.
The pendant is shaped like a French love medal with the inscription: Plus qu’hier, moins que demain.
The text on the medal is taken from a famous poem titled 'Les Vieux' by Rosemonde Gérard. He wrote in 1907:
"Car, vois-tu, chaque jour je t’aime davantage,
Aujourd’hui plus qu’hier et bien moins que demain".
(For, you see, each day I love you more, Today more than yesterday and less than tomorrow.)
