.
The artist, distant from schools and trends, creates his works as a free man, following exclusively his own ideality and personal goals.
In this material painting he wanted to express himself with colors in search of new chromatic emotions, using many colors in a scattered yet calculated order. . Life is full of expressions and happy moments but they are often hindered by great difficulties. Colors always help to overcome them because they are a symbol of joy and life. If we cannot separate the difficult moments from the unhappy ones, we can create a sustainable balance as when in the morning we go to the café to enjoy a cappuccino with brioche and then the hours of work ahead become less heavy.
The painting has edges of cm 4 that replace the frame, as is used in abstract paintings, so it is ready to hang without further expense and, compared to a painting just on canvas, there is a great convenience both economically and practically.
Paolo Contin has a long artistic career. He trained in the world of design and since 1980 has worked in fashion and art. Since 1999 he began to exhibit his works; in 2002 his first solo show in Padua, followed by many exhibitions in Italy and abroad, including Copenhagen, Munich, Paris, Brussels, Istanbul, Buenos Aires and Sydney.
