“Self-Portrait”

Through this minimalist work, I choose to represent my own body not as a classical portrait, but as a presence, a feeling and an energy.

The feminine curves occupy space with simplicity and sincerity. The gaze is not directed toward a precise identity, but toward an emotion, an admitted vulnerability and a celebration of the body as it is. This intentionally pared-down approach allows the focus to be on the essential: femininity, gentleness and human presence.

I worked with a warm color palette to convey a sense of proximity, intimacy and warmth. The amber tones, deep reds and the bright nuances dialogue with each other to create an enveloping and deeply alive atmosphere.

The visible lines, some irregularities and the traces of the painting gesture have been deliberately preserved. Like in the rest of my work, I want to let the hand of the artist appear and preserve the authenticity of the creative process. These marks become the witnesses of the human presence behind the artwork.

This self-portrait does not seek perfection. It seeks the truth of a moment, self-acceptance and the unique beauty of the female body. The small format further reinforces this sense of intimacy, like a personal fragment shared with the viewer.

“Self-Portrait” is a celebration of femininity, the freedom to be oneself, and the beauty of imperfections that make us unique. Through this work, I share a part of my identity, my sensitivity and my view of the female body.
