Exceptional lot of 6 cards (including 2 graded and 2 in their unopened boxes) of Victor Wembanyama from the French publisher Slam Deck.
Slamdeck is the first French basketball trading card game publisher. The publisher initiates the partner project with the French Basketball Federation (FFBB) and the national teams, men and women, silver medalists at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
The lot includes:
1/ One PSA 10 graded 2023 France Team Collection Victor Wembanyama (glossy version)
2/ One PSA 10 graded 2023 France Team Collection Victor Wembanyama (soft touch version)
The two finishes of this card (glossy and soft touch) are not differentiated by Beckett (this may change) but there are indeed two confirmed versions by the publisher (email exchange with them is authoritative on request). There was only one print run with 3 different printings. During the 2nd printing, the printer could not respond quickly enough to supply glossy-finish cards to deliver to buyers as fast as possible. The quickest solution chosen by the publisher was the soft touch finish for this second print run.
