The work presents itself above all as an illustrated atlas of European birds. Its objective is to aid in the identification of species through a high-quality iconography depicting birds in their plumage, their sex variations and sometimes age variations. The texts are intentionally concise and focus on the essential characteristics of the species, their distribution, their habits, and their identification.
