Traditional calendar and divinatory manuscript (Porhalaan / Pustaha) from the second half of the 20th century, with a buffalo horn cover bearing a high-relief sculpture of two protective Singa figures, inner pages of natural bark paper (Alim / Aquilaria) folded as an accordion, with two-colour traditional tracings and black resin soot ink, texts in the sacred Surat Batak alphabet, 20 pages, 10 × 7 cm, original language, in good condition, edition Autre édition.

Designation: Traditional calendar and divinatory manuscript (Porhalaan / Pustaha).
Top cover: A finely carved domestic buffalo horn. The summit is crowned by a high-relief sculpture representing two confronting protective mythological creatures (Singa).
Internal support: Pages of natural tree bark (Alim / Aquilaria), beaten and assembled into an accordion structure (paravent folding).
Pigments and inks: Traditional bicromatic tracings adhering to the sacred triad. Handmade black ink made from resin soot (Baja) and red/brown organic pigments.
Writing: Ritual texts in the sacred syllabic alphabet (Surat Batak), derived from the scripts of South India.
