Title: Rosso Antico
Year: 2026
Technique: Acrylic and mixed media on canvas
Support: Canvas on wooden stretcher
Canvas: 80 × 60 × 1,2 cm
Frame: Not present (piece sold without a frame)
Hand-signed in the bottom right (not visible in the photos but present on the work).
Unique piece (not a print, multiple, or numbered edition).
Rosso Antico is a mixed-media abstract work characterized by a strong material presence.
The surface is dominated by a deep red that seems to breathe, interrupted by turquoise touches that break the composition like signals, like memories, like elements that surface and become presence.
The work arises from an instinctive gesture and an emotional inquiry that traverses color, texture, and layering.
An intense, vibrant piece that invites the viewer to a direct dialogue with the material.
