Description from the seller

I am selling this Caleb Ewan jersey from the 2016 Orica GreenEDGE team. The shirt is intended for training and is unavailable on the market. The jersey is in impeccable condition.

Caleb Ewan, born July 11, 1994 in Sydney, is an Australian cyclist.

A sprint specialist, he notably won the EuroEyes Cyclassics 2016 and is among the riders who have won stages in all three Grand Tours.

Caleb Ewan was born in New South Wales to a Korean mother (daughter of Korean immigrant Gwang-sun Noh1) and an Australian father2. He began cycling at the age of eight, inspired by his father, who was a professional rider1. He competed in his first race at the age of nine3. In 2011, he was Australia’s junior road race champion. The following year, he won several Australian junior track championships and became junior omnium world champion.

He emerged during the winter of 2012, winning against Robbie McEwen and Allan Davis in sprint finishes at the Jayco Bay Classic at just 17 years old. At the end of the year, he took second place at the junior world championship.

In 2013, he rode for the Jayco-AIS World Tour Academy, a Cycling Australia–backed team aimed at developing the best Australian prospects into professional cycling4. He returned at the Jayco Bay Classic, where he won the first stage and the overall classification. Throughout the rest of the season, he won the Côte Picarde, a U23 Nations Cup race, the Gran Premio Palio del Recioto, stages of the Tour Alsace, the Tour of Thuringia, and the Tour de l’Avenir. At the end of the season, he finished fourth in the U23 road world championships. In late October, he announced he would join the Australian World Tour team Orica-GreenEDGE. It was planned that he would join the team as a stagiaire in summer 2014, then as a professional rider in autumn5.

He started the 2014 season with two national road titles: the Australian under-23 road race and the under-23 criterium. In August, he won another stage at the Tour de l’Avenir. Favored for the under-23 road world championships, he had to settle for the silver medal6. At the end of the year, he rode the Tour of Beijing with Orica-GreenEDGE. In his first UCI World Tour race, he achieved three top-10 finishes in sprint finishes and notably finished second on the first stage7.
