Description from the seller
Selling a professional harmonica from the brand M. Hohner, model “Chromonica 280” (The 64) in C major. The instrument features 4 full octaves (16 channels) and a slide for all semitones. It is in an excellent, visually near-new condition (see close-up photos, hardly any signs of use, chrome shines perfectly). Comes in the original Hohner plastic box.
Condition: Very well maintained, clean and fully functional.
Type: Chromatic (16 channels)
Key: C major
And a beautiful, old harmonica from the traditional brand M. Hohner, model “Piccolo” in the key of C major.
The instrument is in very good visual condition for its age with a nice patina on the brass plates (see photos). It is the charming miniature model with 10 reed chambers and a wooden reed chassis.
Special highlight: The harmonica comes in its original, rare wooden storage box with a sliding lid. On the lid is engraved the lettering of the well-known folk song “Kein schöner Land in dieser Zeit.”
Historical classification:
Since the Hohner logo on the back already features the missing star in the middle of the two hands, the instrument can be dated to the period after 1937. Judging by the design and the box, the set probably originates from the 1950s/1960s.
A great collector’s item for lovers of music history and vintage instruments!
Model: M. Hohner Piccolo
Key: C (C major)
Accessory: Original sliding wooden box
Condition: Age-appropriate very well preserved.
