Title: "In the First Light"

"In the First Light" tells of that special moment between night and day – when the world is still and everything seems possible. Darkness is still perceptible, yet brightness already spreads on the horizon. It is a moment of pause before the day writes its stories.

The bright yellows and turquoises feel like the first sun rays touching landscape, thoughts, and feelings. The darker areas remind of what lies behind us: experiences, doubts, and memories. Yet they are not suppressed – they belong to the painting as much as the light. Only their interaction gives the work its depth.

The painting invites the gaze toward new beginnings. It reminds us that every day begins with a quiet possibility: the chance to see anew, feel anew, and start afresh. "In the First Light" is a homage to hope, which often begins inconspicuously – and is all the more powerful because of it.

Biography:
My name is Sandra Glaser and I live in Trofaiach in beautiful Styria, where I have created a lovingly furnished studio – a place where I can dive completely into my colors, forms and thoughts.
From childhood I was fascinated by the world of art. This enthusiasm has never left me – it accompanies me to this day and continually inspires me anew. On trips and during visits to numerous exhibitions across Europe, I gathered many artistic impressions that have shaped my view of painting.
My preferred form of expression is abstract acrylic painting on canvas. In my works I mainly deal with feelings, inner states, landscapes and fantastical worlds. It is about making visible what cannot be spoken – emotions, moods and interspaces, which are often expressed only in color and movement.
I paint out of passion. It is, for me, an intuitive process in which authenticity and depth are central. Each work is a piece of myself – a impulse, a memory, a look inward and outward at once.

For a painting measuring 160 x 100 cm you need a stretched canvas frame of size 150 x 90 cm and a thickness of 2-4 cm.

You can then either simply stretch the canvas yourself or have it stretched by an artisan or gallery owner.

This is a handmade original, which is signed by the artist on the back and dated by year.

High-quality and light-fast acrylic paints have been applied on multiple primed white gallery canvas.

A varnish has also been applied to protect the work.

This work is handmade and thus unique!
