My name is Sandra Glaser and I live in Trofaiach in beautiful Styria, where I have created a lovingly furnished studio – a place where I can dive completely into my colors, shapes and thoughts.
Since childhood I have been fascinated by the world of art. This enthusiasm has never left me – it accompanies me to this day and continuously inspires me. On trips and while visiting numerous exhibitions across Europe, I have gathered many artistic impressions that have shaped my view of painting.
My preferred form of expression is abstract acrylic painting on canvas. In my work I mainly deal with feelings, inner states, landscapes and fantasy worlds. It is about making visible what cannot be said – emotions, moods and interstices that are often expressed only in color and movement.
I paint out of passion. For me, it is an intuitive process in which authenticity and depth are in the foreground. Each work is a piece of myself – an impulse, a memory, a look inward and outward at the same time.
For a painting with dimensions 160 x 130 cm, a stretcher frame of size 150 x 120 cm with a thickness of 2-4 cm is required.
You can either simply stretch the canvas yourself or have it stretched by a craftsman or gallery owner.
This is a handmade original, signed by the artist on the back and dated the year it was created.
High-quality, lightfast acrylic paints were used on multiple layers of white-primed gallery canvas.
