My name is Sandra Glaser and I live in Trofaiach in the beautiful Styria, where I have created a lovingly furnished studio – a place where I can dive completely into my colours, shapes and thoughts.
Since childhood I have been fascinated by the world of art. This enthusiasm has never left me – it accompanies me to this day and continually inspires me. On travels and while visiting numerous exhibitions in Europe I was able to gather many artistic impressions that have shaped my view of painting.
My preferred form of expression is abstract acrylic painting on canvas. In my works I mainly deal with feelings, inner states, landscapes and fantasy worlds. It is about making visible what cannot be said – emotions, moods and interspaces that are often expressed only in colour and movement.
I paint out of passion. For me it is an intuitive process in which authenticity and depth are central. Each work is a piece of myself – an impulse, a memory, a look inward and outward at the same time.
For a painting measuring 160 x 130 cm you need a stretched canvas in the size of 150 x 120 cm with a thickness of 2-4 cm.
You can then either stretch the canvas yourself or have it stretched by a craftsperson or gallery.
This is a handmade original, which has been signed by the artist on the back and dated to the year.
High-quality and lightfast acrylic colours were used on a multi-layered white primed gallery canvas.
