Fine, gray cracks run through the surface. They are not loud, not dramatic, but more like quiet interruptions in an otherwise even thought. As if the color pauses briefly in places, hesitates, or remembers.

These small disturbances take nothing away from the painting’s warmth. On the contrary: they give it depth. It does not appear flawless, but experienced – as if it has absorbed time, tension, or emotion.

Thus something emerges that feels almost familiar. A yellow that not only shines but also tells that even brightness can have its flaws.

Biographie:
My name is Sandra Glaser and I live in Trofaiach in beautiful Styria, where I have created a lovingly appointed studio – a place where I can dive completely into my colors, shapes, and thoughts.
Since childhood I have been fascinated by the world of art. This enthusiasm has never left me – it accompanies me to this day and repeatedly inspires me anew. On travels and while visiting numerous exhibitions across Europe I have gathered many artistic impressions that have shaped my view of painting.
My preferred form of expression is abstract acrylic painting on canvas. In my work I mainly deal with feelings, inner states, landscapes, and fantasy worlds. My aim is to make visible what cannot be spoken – emotions, moods, and interspaces that are often only expressible in color and movement.
I paint out of passion. It is for me an intuitive process in which authenticity and depth are central. Each work is a piece of myself – a impulse, a memory, a look inward and outward at the same time.

For a painting with the dimensions 160 x 130 cm you need a stretcher frame sized 150 x 120 cm and a thickness of 2-4 cm.

You can then either simply stretch the canvas yourself or have it stretched by an art craftsman or gallery owner.

This is a handmade original, which is signed by the artist on the back and dated by year.

High-quality and lightfast acrylic paints were used on multiple layers of white-primed gallery canvas.

A varnish was also applied to protect the work.
