clandestine edition « A l’Angelot Maudit » published in 1948
This collection brings together the most subversive texts by Arthur Raimbaud (excerpts from Stupra and the Album Zutique).
Complete with its 17 original burin-engraved plates (and erotic) (13 hors-texte – 4 in-text).
Format 12.5 x 20 – loose leaves – 43 pages - illustrated cover with a rolled (filled) spine – publisher’s cardboard slipcase and binder.
Original edition limited to 30 copies and a few copies reserved for the Artist’s friends on Marais pur fil paper.
Our copy is no. 99.
Presence of two different embossed coats of arms (embossed stamps) - pages 12, 15 and 30.
The cover is very slightly faded; interior in very good condition. A slight offset (natural shading) of some engravings onto the facing pages is observable (a characteristic of the oil-based inks used for the high-quality original prints of 1948).
Slipcase and binder worn (see photos).
This copy includes the ex-libris of the previous collector.
