From 1962 he became part of the international and interdisciplinary Fluxus group, born in the USA to promote George Maciunas and based on alternative behaviors and continual crossing of the boundaries of the languages. In '63 his work "Teatrino" was performed in New York within a series of concerts organized by Charlotte Moorman and Nam June Paik. He later participated in Gruppo 70, concrete poetry, for the musical part. He published the book "Musica senza contrappunto" in '69 and "Senza Titolo" in '71. In 1970 he stopped composing and began an intense activity of concerts, performances, conferences that took him, among other places, to Berlin, London, Paris, Vienna, Milan, Venice, Rome, New York. His activity as a visual artist led him to be regarded today as the most important Italian Fluxus artist internationally. He died in Florence on May 9, 2007.
