This type of leather-framed mirror with laced edges, decorated with pressed or punched patterns, was extremely popular in Hungary and Central Europe during the mid-century modern era, especially in the 1960s and 1970s. Main features: Material: Thick, dark brown genuine cowhide and traditional glass mirror. Design: Oval shape, with wavy (laced) edges. Decoration: Handmade, embossed (punched) floral and geometric motifs, combined with white/light lace or perforation.
