Jan Marti was born in 1958 in Savoie. After a few brief studies and various jobs he quickly left, and devoted himself to painting. His attraction to the abstract, which he depicts as dynamic and elegant, is undeniable. The blaze of colors and elements touches our senses and flatters the eye. In his work, beauty is naturally suggested. As passionate about painting as about visual arts, he increasingly pursues this discipline!
With gemology training at the ING (National Institute of Gemology, Paris) and a lifelong passion for precious stones, he often enhances his sculptures with precious stones.
Jan Marti is represented in numerous exhibitions and private collections in France and abroad. He is listed in the artists’ dictionary "guid'arts" 2021 and 2022.
