Beautiful edition of Dante Alighieri's Divine Comedy with the precious illustrations by Gustave Doré. The complete volume presents with stained first and last pages; the binding is not original but is handsome and solid. Small defects (which, however, do not impair the perfect reading of the text and the plates), the stains on the first and last pages, condition the value of this volume which is nonetheless rare since it was printed in 1868.
