Sixteen vinyl record sleeves arranged like a record shop wall — but a wall that lives, pulses, and emits. In the center, a red ON AIR neon irradiates the entire work with its warm, changing light. This is not a reproduction. This is not a poster. It’s a painting that lights up.
Le Yack has gathered sixteen faces and sixteen refrains that defined a decade — the era of synths, endlessly rotating music videos, late-night slow dances, and shouted anthems with raised fists. Each sleeve is hand-painted — acrylic, charcoal pastel, ink on print — with a fidelity that is as much a portrait as an homage. None are copies: each is an interpretation, a hand resting on a memory.
And at the center of it all, the neon. Red. Bright. ON AIR. As if radio never stopped. As if, somewhere right now, a DJ is still playing the track that makes you turn up the volume in the car — and someone, somewhere, is listening.

The artist Le Yack's style is a bold mix of pop art, street art, and classical and modern painting. He uses his graphic tablet to create unique visual universes, merging various digital resources and exploring a variety of artistic techniques (Photoshop software and drawing on Procreate, plus various royalty-free image resources and AI).

Le Yack is an emerging French pop and street art artist. Alexandre Pelletier, aka Le Yack, was born in 1972 in Tours. During his studies he joined the École Supérieure d’Art et de Design (ESAD) of Orléans. He is art director in publishing and on the web. Instagram @leyack45. He is exhibited in a network of about forty galleries in France, Germany, Belgium, the United States.
Inspired by classical and modern painting, Le Yack brings a contemporary gaze to his creations by incorporating emblematic elements of pop and urban culture. His works are characterized by bright colors, dynamic shapes, and expressive compositions.
The artist also explores different forms of artistic production. Some of his works are reproduced in series on stretched canvases, creating limited editions accessible to a wider audience. Other works are created as unique paintings on canvas, adding an exclusive and authentic dimension to his collection.
Le Yack's style reflects a fusion between traditional art and the endless possibilities offered by digital technology. His innovative approach and skillful use of digital resources allow him to create original works that captivate the eye and invite reflection.
