Original abstract expressionist acrylic painting by Jovan Srijemac (b. 1962), titled Afternoon paranoia - (XXL), 120 x 105 cm, hand-signed, created in 2026 in the Netherlands, edition Origineel, sold by Kunstagent.
Description from the seller
Unique abstract expressionist large painting with total large canvas size (with extra white borders) 120 x 105 x 01 cm. Work was painted in 2026. The painting is shipped rolled, without a stretch frame. Once mounted on the frame, the canvas size (image) is 110 x 95 x 2 cm.
In this work I let loose my deepest emotions, causing bold colors and dynamic color additions on canvas to cross each other in a dynamic dance. Through the chaos a sense of harmony arises.
The paint is applied on canvas with a palette knife - with acrylic paint on XXL canvas. Varnished, and with certificate of authenticity.
For buyers from the Netherlands who want to pick up the painting themselves, it is possible by agreement and for a fee to have the canvas stretched on the stretch frame.
The dynamics, expression and freedom of the artist's expression are clearly visible. This work fits well in a modern interior or office space. Condition of the work is excellent, varnished, with certificate of authenticity.
Original, very unique abstract expressionist work by Dutch professional/contemporary artist (since the early 1980s) Jovan Srijemac (1962). In more than 40 years as an artist, Jovan has sold his work worldwide to private individuals, art collectors and companies. Also in his long career as an artist he has been exhibited at various art fairs. Jovan works 7 days a week in his own Art Studio / Gallery in the Netherlands.
The chaos of ideas that have arisen in my head, the inner deprived energy, wants to come out like a volcano and thus become an explosion and a symphony of colors on the canvas, framed with matter, figures, faces or an abstract composition.
From the unconscious, often chaotic and explosive application of paint on the canvas, initially unplanned figures, objects, portraits or an abstract composition arise. As with the unplanned conception of a child: birth, growing up, to personality formation and its life. Often conceived unintentionally, we are born, we grow up, and we are all framed in the body, our frame, but each is unique in its own way.
