Lead crystal glass vase with kugelschliff and a 925 sterling silver mount, HB crest with Hermann Bauer, approximately 26 cm high with a 6 cm opening and about 1 kg weight, dating to 1950–1960 and in excellent condition with minor scratches and signs of wear.

Unique find, a lead crystal glass vase in ball-cut with silver mount 925 Sterling
punctuated 925 Sterling HB with coat of arms (Hermann Bauer).

Height approx. 26 cm,
Base approx. 6 cm
Upper opening approx. 6 cm
Weight: approx. 1000 g.
Condition: Excellent, without chips, minor scratches and soiling (see pictures).
Hermann Bauer, born in 1833 in Heilbronn, Germany.
In 1863 he founded his own silverware factory in Schwäbisch Gmünd.
At the beginning of his career as a silversmith, he gained fame especially for his Renaissance jewelry, which was even worn by Queen Olga of Württemberg and soon earned him the nickname “Renaissance-Bauer.”
To this day the company is in operation and has made an international name for itself in the Swabian silversmith workshop.
Even today they stand for quality with a long tradition and artistic jewelry making from high-quality silver and timeless design.
