Description from the seller
Technique: painting made by hand on canvas mounted on a wooden stretcher.
The frame visible in some photos is only a staging suggestion made by the gallery to help visualize it in an interior.
The frame is not included with the artwork.
BOZ (born 1985) is a French artist and graffiti artist who has participated for several years in various projects and artistic collaborations related to the international urban scene.
His work has been seen through various interventions and creations produced under several labels and collectives, while maintaining a deliberately discreet identity.
As part of a confidential collaboration around the dissemination of certain original works, a few selected pieces are today offered exclusively on Catawiki.
BOZ deliberately favors limited and discreet diffusion, without heavy public presence or traditional communication around his identity.
His graphic universe blends urban art, free figuration and neo-expressionist energy, with powerful black lines, instinctive characters and a visually raw writing immediately recognizable.
Each work is handmade in a spontaneous approach where graphic tension, symbols and emotion mingle.
His monochrome and highly graphic works are designed as strong pieces for collecting and contemporary decoration, between street art, modern art brut and underground culture.
