Robert PILLARD VALERE was born in 1942 in Brittany.
He has always painted abstractly; for about thirty years he has returned to expressionist figuration.
After he began in Angers, he moved in his early youth to Nantes, where he joined the group TERRE DE NANTES ET DE GALICE, which exhibited in all the countries of the European Atlantic coast, Scotland, Wales, Ireland, Brittany, and Galicia in Spain.
After this period in Nantes he moved to Paris, where he painted and etched in parallel. He has worked with authors such as SAMPIERO, PRIOL, HOLDEN, SCHERRER, OKUYAMA, PATERSON, MINIAC, ANISE KOLTZ...
