Beautiful work by Robert Pillard Valère.
Robert PILLARD VALERE was born in 1942 in Brittany.
He has always painted abstractly; for about thirty years he has returned to expressionist figuration.
After he began in Angers, he moved in his early youth to Nantes, where he joined the group TERRE DE NANTES ET DE GALICE, which exhibited in all the countries of the European Atlantic coast, Scotland, Wales, Ireland, Brittany, and Galicia in Spain.
After this period in Nantes he moved to Paris, where he painted and etched in parallel. He has worked with authors such as SAMPIERO, PRIOL, HOLDEN, SCHERRER, OKUYAMA, PATERSON, MINIAC, ANISE KOLTZ... In a collection of artists’ books he created, "L’HÔTE NOMADE", these works can be found at the BNF, but also in numerous provincial libraries and European countries such as Scotland, Germany, and Spain...
He participates in numerous group exhibitions such as the GRANDS ET JOURS D’AUJOURD’HUI, REALITÉS NOUVELLES, LE SAGA, LE MARKET DE LA POÉTIE...
He has had numerous solo exhibitions in Nantes, Paris, Périgueux…
