Splendid and rare vintage world globe "Il Grande Globo Terraqueo di Selezione dal Reader's Digest", an iconic piece of Italian editorial cartography from the second half of the 20th century. This model stands out for its accurate physical and political relief cartography, which allows tactile perception of mountain ranges and terrain morphology. The surface bears a rich legend in Italian that classifies vegetation, climates (tundra, steppe, desert, forest), national borders, and ocean currents. Equipped with a particular gyroscopic action, the globe can be freely rotated on multiple axes for dynamic and complete consultation from any angle.
