Description from the seller
A top painting by the artist Nadine Varewyck, with great attention to detail, painted in lovely pastel tones.
Take a look at the execution of the bird’s nest or the canvas that is placed as background.
Painted on specially prepared canvas board.
Encased in a striking, beautiful classical frame.
And a wonderful spring painting for the collector of paintings with birds.

Born in Temse on 30/03/1956
From the age of ten I attended the academy in Temse... classes in solids, ornaments, heads, nature drawing, modeling, and sculpting.
The studies over the years formed a solid basis for me to learn painting techniques at home as an autodidact, with the technical help of my father as an experienced advisor.
I soon noticed that, as a fijnschilder (fine painter) at the academy, there wasn’t enough time to finish my work to my satisfaction.
Later I met a well-known restorer, Frank Moreels, and thanks to him I learned to use other paints and binders, which benefited my work. We admired each other’s work and he had me included in the book "The Belgian Visual Artists of the 19th and 20th Century" by Paul Piron.
Although my preference goes to still life in oil, which I could carry out calmly at home, I kept craving new creative challenges.
From 1984 I pursued at the academy in Sint-Niklaas studies in watercolor and pastel drawing and graphics (in particular etching).
In 1988 I earned a city medal.
Solo exhibition during Pukema in Puurs.
Participation in the exhibition "Woman and Art" in Temse.
Participation in the exhibition "Through the Eyes of the Woman" in Sint-Niklaas.
Participation in the exhibition "Portraits Created by Temstenaars".
Participation in the art circle Casteleyn exhibition in Bornheim, Germany.
