Silver Lepine Pocket Watch (Cylinder Escapement, 10 Jewels)
Origin Franco-Swiss, circa 1880. Includes the original brass winding key.
Aesthetic Description
Dial: White enamel dial on copper in excellent condition, with no flaws or apparent restorations. Roman numerals for the hours in black enamel and a perimetral Arabic minute scale (5 to 60), ornamented with double gold dots.
Hands: Set of Louis XV-style hands in rose gold-plated brass, pierced with filigree motifs.
Case: Three-piece solid silver construction with finely knurled carrure. The rear cover features a hand-engraved guilloché pattern with geometric and floral motifs framing a plain central shield (vacat) for initials. The silver dust cover is decorated with symmetric cartels and two functional keyholes.

Movement: Manual-wind mechanical caliber with time-setting via independent key from the back. Classic Swiss-style arrangement with independent bridges.
Escapement and Regulators: Steel cylinder escapement and gear train with 10 jewels to reduce friction at the main pivots. Three-arm balance wheel in brass (uncompensated) with blued steel flat balance spring. Rate adjustment by indexed rack with engraved marks R / A (Retard / Advance).
Dimensions and Weight: Case diameter 45.50 mm (excluding pendant and bow). Total certified weight 67.11 grams with key included.
