Since 2018, Warren Podguszer, known by the pseudonym Wawapod, has immersed himself in the world of Pop Art and street art in Paris, developing a unique style that fuses geometry and popular iconography. His work is distinguished by reusing iconic icons through accumulations of dots, paying homage to art history and to popular figures he admires.
His works often have an initial abstract reading that becomes figurative depending on the distance from which they are viewed. He likes the idea that each person who observes his works does not necessarily see the same thing, but above all he loves playing with the observer’s eye.
By diverting certain masterpieces, he aims to make them rediscovered by the general public and invites them to explore art history in a playful, modern, and democratic way.
Possibility to pick up the work in the Île-de-France region.
This work is an original piece and was hand-signed on the back by the artist.
