Description from the seller

Splendid and important crystal vase from the famous Belgian royal manufacturer Val Saint Lambert, dating from the mid-20th century (circa 1950-1960).
This exceptional piece testifies to the absolute mastery of the house's glassmakers. It is a double-layered (overlay) crystal in an intense ruby red color, deeply hand-cut to reveal the purity and clarity of the underlying clear crystal. The geometric pattern alternates rich diamond-point motifs with vertical bevels, offering plays of light and spectacular reflections.
The reflections may give the impression of chips, but it is in perfect condition on the top and sides; the only signs of wear are on the bottom of the vase and are therefore not visible when it is displayed.
The vase is authentically signed at the tip underneath its base with "Val St Lambert".
Dimensions and weight (recorded on the invoice):
Height: 20 cm
Maximum diameter: 13 cm
Weight: 1.62 kg
Condition:
The vase is in very good cosmetic condition. The crystal retains all its brilliance, its transparency and its original sheen. No major chips or cracks to report on the body or the neck. The underside of the base shows normal and legitimate signs of use for an authentic piece from this era, not diminishing the beauty of the piece on display.
A timeless glassmaking work of art of great elegance, perfect for collectors of fine crystal or to enhance a refined interior.
