The models generally have a huge Afro hairstyle. This hairstyle represents freedom and serves as a backdrop to the photographs of the metropolises. The theme is individuality and loneliness in the overwhelming grandeur of the city. The recent attacks in, for the most part, major cities intensify the sense of vulnerability.
The idea for the new photographic compositions arose when Yvonne was driving on the highway at night and saw the city sliding by. Each light is a window that represents a life. It was then that she realized there is a story involving life, love, happiness and sadness behind every single window.
