Extase is a 2026 limited edition hand-signed screenprint by French street artist Jace (born 1973), 50 × 50 cm, produced in France by Galerie Mathgoth in mint, unframed condition.
Description from the seller
Original screen print by Jace, the French street artist born in 1973 in Le Havre, now based in Saint-Denis de la Réunion. Titled “Extase,” this 2026 work is produced in open edition in a square format of 50 × 50 cm.
Self-taught, Jace began painting in the streets in 1989 before creating in 1992 Gouzou — an orange character without a face, without hands or feet, archetype of universal and mischievous humanity. In more than three decades, his Gouzou has painted walls in more than thirty countries across four continents, becoming one of the most recognizable figures in global street art. Jace is represented by Galerie Mathgoth (Paris 13th arrondissement), a historic partner with whom he maintains a long-standing collaboration.
Screen printing is a hand-made art printing technique, achieved by successive passes of ink through stretched screens. Each print is a work in its own right, produced with the same care as a numbered edition.
