Description from the seller
Original artwork on wood.
Technique: spray paint, acrylic markers, cardboard.
Artwork dimensions: 19x19 cm.

Pop and street-art styled artwork depicting one of the famous Star Wars space ships: the famous TIE fighter of the Empire.
The ship has been cut out and pasted over the colored background. With the cardboard’s depth, it appears to come out of the canvas. The artist places us at the heart of a world that is both urban and deeply pop culture.

Delivered with certificate of authenticity.

Pappay set up shop in the south of France about twenty years ago and has continually created and reinvented himself. He draws inspiration from the chaos of cities and their architecture, as well as from graphic design and street art. His very realistic style with shimmering colors invites us to live and feel the scenes he depicts.
Through customization and the creation of larger-scale works, Pappay is making his mark on the contemporary art scene.
His works are exhibited in galleries nationally and internationally, notably in Singapore and the United States (Philadelphia).
He won 3rd prize in the Ride Smart Live Art competition in Peyssac (Gironde, France) and regularly participates in street-art festivals in southern France.
