Description from the seller
Tension Suspended (2026), is an oil painting on canvas by the artist Alejandro Faura that explores the presence of that which refuses to disappear. The red fish does not represent an animal, but a trace: a memory, an emotion, or an inner truth that resists time and continues to inhabit consciousness. In front of it, the figure of the child embodies the moment when memory stops being the past to become identity. Suspended between contemplation and silence, the work speaks of what remains when everything changes. The intense chromatic contrasts reinforce an atmosphere of emotional tension and turn the image into a metaphor of human persistence. This painting invites the viewer to confront what has never completely abandoned its interior. The work is the last of three paintings with the same dimensions that formed part of a series by the artist, is sold directly by the artist, boasts an excellent state of conservation, hand-signed and delivered with a certificate of authenticity, its shipment will be carefully rolled inside a tube.
