Description from the seller
Beautiful painting by the painter Aldo Mazzi.
Aldo Mazzi was born in Livorno in 1937, where he still lives and works today in the studios in "Casini d’Ardenza".
Self-taught painter who links himself to the Macchiaiola and Post-Macchiaiola traditions of Livorno origin.
Always nicknamed “Cucciolo”.
He has exhibited widely in various Italian regions and recently, on several occasions, also in the USA (San Diego), where he has achieved considerable success.
The painting depicts Livorno’s seafront promenade, where this ancient bar, called "La Baracchina Rossa", stands.
Very beautiful colors.
A quirky tidbit... Mazzi paints on any scrap of wood he can manage to recover. It comes from my private collection and measures, without a frame, 15x35.
