A flock of birds in flight sketches in the sky the unmistakable silhouette of the Nike Swoosh, transforming a simple commercial symbol into an ephemeral and natural figure. The work plays with the ambiguity between what is spontaneous and what is constructed, between the freedom of flight and the invisible power of brands that colonize even our collective imagination. In this "celestial composition", the artificer dissolves into the air, suggesting that even natural gestures can be contaminated or reinterpreted through the filter of contemporary visual culture. An image that does not impose itself, but appears – like a vision, or perhaps a shared hallucination.

This new work arises from the creativity of French artist Louis Dourand, known for having collaborated in the past with Santicri, in an artistic dialogue that has managed to fuse different visual languages into a shared expressive vision. Santicri – with whom Louis Dourand has collaborated on several occasions – is one of the most established contemporary artists on the international scene. He/She has exhibited his/her works in prestigious contexts such as Palazzo Grillo in Genoa in 2022 and the International Contemporary Furniture Fair (ICFF) in New York in 2023. In 2024 he/she was recognized among Artmayeur’s Best-Selling Artists and entered the top 3 of the most sought-after artists on Catawiki, alongside names like Kaws and Banksy.
