A solitary figure sits at the center of the composition, surrounded by the presence of two others whose connection highlights his isolation. Built from geometric forms and layered textures, the artwork explores the emotional complexity of being physically present yet emotionally detached.
Architectural arches frame the scene like fragments of memory, while the surrounding figures symbolize relationships, choices and unfulfilled longing. The central character remains absorbed in contemplation, caught between closeness and distance.
Through a cubist-inspired visual language, the work reflects on loneliness, human connection and the silent spaces that often exist between people.
Signed on the front and verso.
