The box is richly ornamented on all sides. The exterior lid showcases a central floral rosette enclosed within a geometric diamond-hatch cartouche, framed by sweeping scrolls and a thick border of relief-molded foliage and grapevine garlands. The four side panels carry a continuous design of four-petal blossoms on a stippled backdrop, bordered by an upper cross-hatched band. It stands firmly on four beautifully integrated, organic Rococo-style scroll feet.

Upon opening, the inner lid reveals a clean, stamped reverse-side relief pattern featuring matching floral medallions on a finely granulated background. The main compartment is completely lined in its original, vibrant turquoise-green satin/velvet fabric, providing a soft protective cushion for jewelry or small keepsakes.
