AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Young artist exhibited at the Centre Pompidou in September 2025 for the French Young Creation Day, Laurent Anastay-Ponsolle is a French expressionist artist born in 1982. Drawing, painting, collage, performance are the languages he explores with strength and spontaneity.

This work is an oil painting on paper with highlights in oil pastels. The whole presents a very “raw,” “raw-edged,” and “sensitive” whole, qualities intrinsic to German figurative Expressionism, in which the artist fully aligns.

The work will be shipped in a cardboard tube with bubble wrap, fast and careful sending. It is also accompanied by an authenticity certificate signed by the artist, which will be emailed. The work is signed on the back by the artist.

Contemporary dance, movement, force, figurative expressionism, Schiele, portrait, Munch, hands, anatomy, Kirchner
