AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Young artist featured at the Centre Pompidou in September 2025 on the occasion of the Day of French Young Creation, Laurent Anastay-Ponsolle is a French expressionist artist born in 1982. Drawing, painting, collage, performance are the languages he explores with force and spontaneity.

This work is an oil painting on paper with highlights of oil pastels. The whole presents a very "raw", "skinned alive", and "sensitive" whole, qualities characteristic of German figurative Expressionism, a movement in which the artist fully participates. It is signed by the artist on the back.

The work will be shipped in a cardboard tube with bubble wrap, fast and careful handling. It is also accompanied by a certificate of authenticity signed by the artist which will be sent by email.

Figurative Expressionism, Schiele, portrait, Munch, hands, anatomy, Kirchner
